Itinerary Details
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha. Meet your guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for giant baobabs and large elephant herds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before checking in at your lodge or tented camp.
Day 2 – Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart Tarangire for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. Enjoy a full-day game drive with photo stops. Overnight at a lodge or camp near the park.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for scenic views along the way. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas, for a full-day game drive. Observe lions, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim.
Day 4 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Depart early for the Serengeti National Park, the heart of Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through open savannahs, spotting predators, herbivores, and birds. Overnight in a luxury tented camp or lodge.
Day 5 – Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti plains, tracking wildlife and witnessing predator-prey interactions. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise can be arranged. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 6 – Serengeti to Arusha & Departure
After an early breakfast, drive or fly back to Arusha. Depending on your departure schedule, you may visit local markets or cultural sites. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
